COOPERATION OF CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES WITH THE COUNTRIES OF THE GLOBAL SOUTH AND FUTURE PROSPECTS

This article analyzes the cooperation between Central Asian countries and the states of the Global South in political, economic, security, and transport-logistical dimensions. It explores how Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan engage with countries from South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. The paper discusses multilateral cooperation within international organizations such as the UN, SCO, and OIC, as well as joint efforts to combat terrorism and drug trafficking. It also highlights the role of major initiatives like China's Belt and Road Initiative in enhancing regional connectivity. The study concludes that strengthening ties with the Global South helps Central Asian states reinforce regional security, deepen economic integration, and increase their international influence despite existing challenges.
