Abstract

This article examines the concept of perfection in folklore as a reflection of the aesthetic,ethical and cultural ideals of the people. The article analyzes how exemplary images of the hero, beauty, justice and harmony are formed and transmitted through oral creativity. The mechanisms of achieving the ideal in folklore works and its role in preserving cultural identity are investigated. The material is valuable for research in cultural studies, folklore and ethnopedagogy.
