METRICAL EVALUATION OF PATIENTS WITH CHEST DEFORMITY

The need for anthropometric research is caused by the large variability in human body size. The limits of fluctuations in the size of people in one group, as a rule, go beyond the limits of fluctuations in the size of people in another group [1, 2]. This is a transgressive variability that necessitates quantitative definitions. Anthropometric methods are of great importance in applied anthropology. To characterize the physical development of teams, differing by ethnicity, climatogeographic and socio-economic living conditions, it is informative to use regional modified regression scales, an integrated scheme and centile tables, that is, methods for assessing physical development using regional standards [3-5].
