MODERN STRATEGIES OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF NECROTIZING PANCREATITIS: MINIMALLY INVASIVE VS. OPEN METHODS

Abstract
Acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP) remains one of the most challenging problems in abdominal surgery. Despite advances in diagnostic and therapeutic methods, mortality in severe forms of the disease remains high. In recent years, significant attention has been paid to minimally invasive surgical treatment methods, such as percutaneous drainage interventions, laparoscopic necrosectomy, and retroperitoneoscopic approaches. However, classical open surgical methods also remain relevant, especially in cases of extensive pancreatic necrosis with multiple organ failure. This article presents a review of modern strategies for the surgical treatment of necrotizing pancreatitis, provides a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of minimally invasive and open methods, and discusses their advantages, disadvantages, and prospects for application.
