Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of war reality on the human psyche, military psychology, and the evolution of the characters' inner world in the story "The Color of Death" by the talented writer Nabi Jalaluddin. The work examines the interpretation of war not as a traditional heroism, but as a terrible tragedy, a crime against humanity. The "color" of war and its essence are revealed through the means of artistic depiction used by the writer, symbolic images, and the hero's spiritual experiences. The study determines the artistic and aesthetic value of the work and its place in modern Uzbek storytelling.
