INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO ENHANCING COGNITIVE COMPETENCE IN DISTANCE LEARNING

Abstract
This article provides a theoretical and practical analysis of innovative approaches to enhancing students’ cognitive competence in the context of distance learning. The paper examines the essence and structure of cognitive competence, the impact of the distance learning environment on cognitive development, as well as ways to develop cognitive competence through digital and innovative pedagogical technologies. The study substantiates the effectiveness of problem-based learning, project-based learning, adaptive learning systems, artificial intelligence, learning management systems (LMS), and interactive educational tools in distance education. The findings of the research have practical significance for improving the quality and effectiveness of distance learning and for developing methodological recommendations aimed at fostering students’ cognitive competence.
