This study examines histostructural alterations of thyroid follicles in hyperthyroidism and evaluates how these morphological changes correlate with the gland’s functional hyperactivity. Detailed microscopic analysis demonstrates that hyperthyroidism is characterized by follicular epithelial hypertrophy, papillary infoldings, colloid depletion, and increased vascularization. These findings highlight the structural basis of excessive thyroid hormone production and contribute to a deeper understanding of the disease’s pathophysiology.
