INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF UZBEKISTAN’S ECONOMY

This article examines the key trends and drivers of innovative development and digital transformation in the economy of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the role of digital technologies, innovation policies, and institutional reforms in enhancing economic competitiveness, productivity, and sustainable growth. Special attention is given to the impact of digital transformation on key economic sectors, including industry, services, finance, and public administration. The research highlights recent initiatives aimed at fostering innovation ecosystems, expanding digital infrastructure, and supporting entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan. Using analytical and comparative methods, the article assesses the effectiveness of digital transformation strategies and identifies existing challenges and development prospects. The findings suggest that innovative development and digitalization serve as critical factors in accelerating economic modernization and ensuring long-term sustainable development in Uzbekistan.
