This article explores contemporary methodological approaches applied in the education of children with intellectual disabilities. It discusses principles of individualized instruction, differentiated teaching strategies, inclusive and special education models, as well as the use of assistive technology and structured learning environments. The paper emphasizes the importance of adapting teaching methods to the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral characteristics of each learner. Innovative, evidence-based practices are examined for their effectiveness in fostering development, communication, and academic achievement in intellectually delayed children.
