SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHRONIC COLITIS: MODERN APPROACHES AND PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Chronic colitis refers to inflammatory diseases of the large intestine characterized by prolonged progression, impaired motility and absorption, and a high risk of complications. This article explores current indications for surgical intervention, analyzes existing methods, their limitations, and directions for improvement. Special attention is given to minimally invasive technologies, personalized approaches, and the evaluation of long-term outcomes. The importance of a multidisciplinary strategy and the integration of innovative solutions into clinical practice is emphasized.
