This article discusses the translation activities of the Uzbek Jadid figure, poet, novelist, playwright, publicist, and translator Abdulhamid Sulaymon oglu Cholpon, as well as the translated works he has done from world literature into the Uzbek language. In particular, the translation of the Russian fable by I. Krylov “The Wolf and the Lamb”, the date of translation, sources, and issues related to translation will be analyzed.
